Reach the world for Christ in 12 steps

Imagine for a moment that today there would only be 1 christian on the whole world.

If he would gain 12 disciples, and each of them in turn would gain another 12 disciples, and so on, then the whole planet would have been reached in less then 12 steps.

Please have a look at the table on the right.

Each line represents a step. The number of people to the right of the step number is 12 times the number of people from the previous line.

In only 12 steps the number of people that could be reached theoretically far outnumbers today's world population.

Even if the world population would double or triple, every living being could still be reached in 12 steps.

This numbers game shows that it is not impossible to reach all people on earth in a short time.

What is needed is focus. Each christian must be willing to reach out to 12 other non christians, instruct them in the ways of Jesus, and help them gain their own 12 disciples.
